What You’ll Do

Take a vegan culinary journey of the Mediterranean with these tantalizing plant-based dishes.

Enjoy creating the rich flavors of the Mediterranean during this interactive vegan cooking class. Chef Maggie will guide you through making four dishes from scratch that are bursting with vibrant flavors. Begin by mixing a bright red beet hummus and baking up a homemade pita to dip in. Next, roll together chickpeas, herbs, tahini and lemon to make crispy falafels that you'll lay in a pita pocket piled high with fresh vegetables and served with handmade eggplant baba ganoush dip. Finish by stuffing dates with a blend of cashews, yogurt and vanilla.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Formerly a cook at a yoga and wellness retreat and sous chef at a vegan restaurant, this yoga instructor and current cooking school chef instructor is passionate about vegan food, which is evident in her curated plant-based creations. Chef Maggie is excited to share her culinary knowledge and expert techniques with you in a variety of cooking classes.

Maggie was so fun and informative. Everything was so delicious, and fun to participate. We learned quite a few things and would love to do it again!

Chef Maggie prepared some great vegan dishes and taught us techniques that will really raise our skills. I especially appreciated learning how to make beautiful round pitas that puff and make a pocket. And the falafel were so tender. All the dishes were delicious.
