Cooking Class - Pasta and Other Italian Classics in Brooklyn

Mariana was a great teacher and we learned a lot from her! She’s a gracious host and made us feel at home in her beautiful apartment. We came out of the the class with a better understanding of how to cook classic Italian meals.

I had the pleasure of attending an in-person cooking class led by Chef Mariana, and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Chef Mariana's expertise and passion for cooking shone through as she guided us through the art of pasta making. Her explanations were thorough, making the process easy to understand, even for beginners. The class was a delightful blend of learning and hands-on experience. We not only learned how to make two different types of pasta but also received detailed instructions on crafting a delectable vegetable Bolognese sauce and mastering the intricacies of crafting a perfect tiramisu. Chef Mariana's teaching style was engaging and patient, making the whole experience enjoyable and educational. What stood out was Chef Mariana's flexibility and attention to individual needs. She graciously modified the menu to accommodate my dietary restrictions without compromising on taste or quality, ensuring that everyone could fully participate and enjoy the dishes. The setting for the class was equally impressive. The apartment where the cooking class took place boasted one of the most breathtaking views of the city I've ever seen. The combination of great food, expert teaching, and a stunning backdrop created an ambiance that was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this cooking class to anyone looking for an exceptional culinary experience. Chef Mariana's skills, along with her accommodating and knowledgeable approach, make this class a must-do. I'm already considering returning for their sushi class, as I'm confident it will be just as exceptional as this one. Whether for friends, family, or personal enrichment, this cooking class is a culinary adventure that's worth every moment.

Mariana was super sweet and informative. I really enjoyed the dishes that we made. We made so much spaghetti that we were too full to even make it to dessert!

I recently took a cooking class with Chef Mariana. I had an amazing time learning about the art of making sushi. Chef was so patient and really talked us through every step. She provided us with background info and techniques all while making it a fun time!! We felt lucky to learn from one of the best as she has some incredible experience and is really passionate about cooking. We made spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and crab rolls along with sashimi and a matcha creme brulee. The vibes were immaculate with great music and views. She also gave us tips on how to improve our sushi making skills. We had the best time and would recommend this class to anyone interested in trying something new, while having the best time. I also appreciated the fact that we got to eat the food we cooked at the end of the class. It was all delicious.

So much fun! We had a great time learning about sushi and all the techniques that go along with it. Mariana was such a joy!
