The intriguing culinary techniques perfected by beloved American chef Julia Child come to life in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Doug. He adds modern touches to her methods and recipes for a French country meal that's both classic and contemporary.

Begin by preparing soft and savory cheese puffs followed by traditional boeuf bourguignon accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts brought to life with butter, lemon and olive oil. For dessert, you'll create Г®le flottante, one of Julia's personal favorites, featuring meringue and seasonal fruit resting atop a bowl of fresh custard.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Doug was just excellent. I could tell he really cared about my girlfriend and I learning and having an excellent evening. The food was delicious and I’d be happy to try cooking the main course sometime soon. Chef Doug is an all around good person who gave us a great experience. Would certainly recommend to others and I’m planning to schedule him for my mom’s birthday soon. Thanks!

Our experience with Chef Doug was fantastic! Not only was the food amazing, but he was wonderful company to have over for the evening and he left our kitchen cleaner than it was when he arrived. We can’t wait to try the recipes he left us again and can’t recommend him enough!

Doug was fantastic. He did a ton of prep to get our meal dialed in, and then taught us how to do the shopping for the special ingredients and prepare all the recipes while improving our skills. The food was amazing - a phenomenal meal - and it was great fun spending the day with Doug.
