What You’ll Do

In this hands-on cooking class, learn how to prepare a unique selection of popular and traditional dishes enjoyed across Latin America. Explore the cultural significance of these beloved dishes while practicing new skills in the kitchen.

Begin with an iconic dish, arepas reina pepiada, which are cornmeal patties stuffed with chicken and avocado. Next, layer a hearty pastichio with homemade pasta, meat, cheese and cream followed by gallina salad: A creamy, Latin American chicken salad with vegetables. Finish class by preparing a flan-like quesillo tipica for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
