What You’ll Do

Cook authentic recipes from two Asian countries in this class with Chef Mickey.

Learn all about handmade sushi and authentic Filipino food as Chef Mickey shares years of experience and knowledge in this hands-on cooking class focused on popular recipes from Southeast and East Asia.

Over four courses, you'll prepare traditional recipes from Japan and the Philippines, including tuna poke with sweet glaze sauce and seaweed salad, and a time-honored pork adobo dish cooked in soy sauce, vinegar and garlic. For dessert, Chef Mickey will teach you how to make a custard flan featuring a sweet caramel sauce.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

As a head chef, he understands the importance of efficiency and skill when preparing handmade sushi and is ready to pass those tips and techniques on to fellow food lovers. In addition to sushi rolling, Chef Mickey teaches classes on creating hot and cold appetizers, decadent desserts and specialties of Filipino cuisine.

My wife and I loved our meal with Chef Mickey! Mickey walked us through some amazing dishes and we enjoyed getting to know more about Asian cuisine through his expertise and experience. He was a professional and we would highly recommend doing a CozyMeal with Mickey.
