Taste is a matter of the mind as you'll learn in this intriguing hands-on cooking class with Chef Nancy. She'll explain the principles of balancing the five basic tastes for satisfying intuitive dining.

Your sour dish is sinigang soup, a green tamarind broth with vegetables and greens. For salty, you'll create chicken and pork belly adobo with soy sauce. Bitter comes next with ampalaya salsa featuring mango and toasted spices, then umami, with your choice of seafood risotto or sirloin roulades. And for sweet, a banana and cream corn iced dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
