In this introductory cooking class, explore Indian food with simple recipes by Chef Pravy.
Indian food can be daunting at first glance, but in this interactive cooking class Chef Pravy simplifies Indian fare into recipes any home chef can tackle. You'll learn how to cook with a few key ingredients that will open up the world of Indian cooking.
Together, you'll explore a popular way to enjoy fruit from street vendors as well as make a simple eggplant recipe. You'll also prepare a takeout favorite — butter chicken — and Chef Pravy will show you how to make seviyan, a sweet Indian dessert made with vermicelli, milk and saffron.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Pravy began cooking at the age of 16, both at home for her family as well as in her uncle’s Indian restaurant. Fast forward to today and Chef Pravy now brings many years of professional culinary experience to the table as a private chef and caterer. She also loves sharing her passion for cooking with others during interactive cooking classes that showcase authentic Indian cuisine as well as many other cuisines.
