Cooking Class - Intermediate Sushi Techniques - Las Vegas

What You’ll Do

Try your hand at several sushi favorites in this technique-focused intermediate sushi class.

Learn new techniques and tips for preparing and plating sushi in this hands-on intermediate sushi-making class. Chef Gilzel will teach you all about presentation and culinary skills needed to make five authentic Japanese recipes completely from scratch.

You'll begin by making salmon poke, a rice bowl filled with salmon, avocado and cucumber. Next, you'll prepare musubi, a block of rice topped with soy sesame-glazed Spam, nori and eel sauce, and assorted nigiri and maki rolls with tuna and salmon. Finally, end class by baking ginger-infused Japanese bread pudding.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
