We booked Chef Justin for our safe & socially distanced pandemic style bridal shower. We did a fun backyard grilling party, everything from the grill! Charred romaine salad, grilled mini pizzas - so many toppings and combinations to try, and then grilled peaches with this bourbon sauce that I can't wait to make again! It was interactive and fun, and truly Chef Justin did all the work! It was so much fun, so easy to plan, and safe. We all had masks made for the party, and Chef Justin even wore one with us! He followed all protocols, and I am so glad that we found something awesome that we could do during this crazy year.

When my wife said she booked us a cooking class with a private chef for my 50th birthday, I didn't know what to expect. Then she jokingly said, we're having Pork & Beans. The joke was on me - because this was the most awesome play on such a basic dish, I couldn't believe my taste buds! He pulled out a fancy sous vide machine (and now I'm buying one for myself!) and showed us how to sous vide the pork tenderloin. Then he made a white bean ragout that had olives, tomatoes, fresh herbs - it was absolutely incredible and tasted better than I can possibly describe. It was so good. And my wife is happy that I'll be practicing indoors with the sous vide machine all winter instead of freezing outside trying to use the grill in the snow. Thanks Chef Justin - and thanks for the recipe to try to recreate on my own!

I wanted to do something special for our anniversary, and decided to book Chef Justin to teach us a cooking class with wine pairings in our home. We decided on a 3 course meal, including a Coddled Sea Egg (I had never heard of this before, but it was INCREDIBLE), a seared Branzino for the two of us, and Key Lime Tarts for dessert. He helped us to find wine pairings for each course, and walked us through the preparation, explaining why certain ingredients were used as well as how to execute different cooking techniques. It was the perfect mix of guided instruction on how to make each course, with him finishing each one so we could also sit back and enjoy ourselves. He even made recipe cards for each dish for us to keep! It was such an awesome experience and an anniversary celebration we will never forget!
