What You’ll Do

Learn how to creatively prepare creamy, nutty root vegetables with the guidance of Chef Parsati.

In this hands-on class, you'll discover how root vegetables can warm your soul as you master a four-course Indian menu with Chef Parsati as your guide.

Using high-quality ingredients and smart cooking techniques, you'll begin the class by slicing ube into cutlets prepared with peanuts, spices, ginger and garlic, then tackle vindaloo made with taro and tomatoes, and tadka dal featuring yams, herbs, coconut milk and tomatoes. End on a sweet note by bringing back ube to make halwa with dried fruit for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Parsati was an awesome teacher! She welcomed us to the class like we friends getting together to cook in the meal. All of the food was delicious and the way were taught the recipes allowed us to easily scale to different portion sizes as required. Would recommend any of her classes

Thank you so much, Chef Parsati! This was a phenomenal birthday present! We learned to make INCREDIBLE, accessible, delicious vegan food that we will absolutely be making again in our own home. Chef Parsati is brilliant and was fantastic at explaining what and why she was doing. She allowed the class to be hands on and was kind enough to answer all of our questions about techniques and Indian cooking in general. She was incredibly mindful and attentive to ingredients used especially given our food restrictions. Her home was beautiful and absolutely spotless, and she made us feel so welcomed in her space. We are looking forward to booking another cooking class with her in the future!

I’ve never used CozyMeal before but I am so thankful I found Chef Parsati on CozyMeal. She is an extremely accommodating and knowledgeable chef. Even though Chef Parsati was busy on the day of my booking, she made sure to fit my girlfriend and I in for our class! We were also running late, and she made us feel so welcomed and comfortable at her place. The meals my girlfriend and I learned to cook were delicious and healthy. I would definitely take another class from Chef Parsati and recommend her to my friends and family.
