Cooking Class - Indian Twist on Root Vegetables

Learn how to creatively prepare creamy, nutty root vegetables with the guidance of Chef Parsati.

In this hands-on class, you'll discover how root vegetables can warm your soul as you master a four-course Indian menu with Chef Parsati as your guide.

Using high-quality ingredients and smart cooking techniques, you'll begin the class by slicing ube into cutlets prepared with peanuts, spices, ginger and garlic, then tackle vindaloo made with taro and tomatoes, and tadka dal featuring yams, herbs, coconut milk and tomatoes. End on a sweet note by bringing back ube to make halwa with dried fruit for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a great birthday celebration cooking with Chef Parsati!! She had everyone participate in the preparation of our meal and she introduced us to new spices and flavors. She even adjusted the recipes quickly to accommodate everyone's palate. Eating the meal we prepared was so delicious!! We look forward to making these recipes at home. We highly recommend the class.

We booked this event as a team building activity and we had so much fun. Chef Parsati kept the class interesting, teaching us about the ingredients, flavors and its origins. We all participated in creating this amazing meal! Would hardly recommend if you're trying to do something fun with your friends or colleagues!
