What You’ll Do

Get ready to discover the basics of fermentation from kombucha to pickles to crГЁme fraГ®che.

In this hands-on class with Chef Catherine, you will be combining modern science with ancient skill as you learn all about fermentation. You will also discover fun ways to liven up your meals by incorporating your funky fermented fusions into different dishes.

Chef Catherine will be teaching you two different types of pickling processes — one that takes a few days and one that can be made in just minutes! You will also learn a little about the many health benefits of fermented foods before taking some home with you!

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Catherine gave my wife and I an amazing ramen cooking experience. She was very professional and helped us make a wonderful dinner. Beyond outstanding food, we had a great time cooking through the whole experience.

This was a wonderful cooking class, I learned a lot about the various spices, and herbs used in the preparation. The Polenta with mushrooms and tofu meatballs was hearty, and full of flavor. The duck ramen was heartwarming full of rich flavors. Chef Catherine's creme puffs were delicious, learning to make them myself was the highlight of the evening.
