Cooking Class - Sushi Bar Basics

What You’ll Do

Learn the basics of handcrafting sushi rolls and other Japanese delicacies in this hands-on class.

In this hands-on class with Chef Matt, you will learn the skills and techniques needed to handcraft two of the most well known sushi rolls as well as a traditional Japanese appetizer and dessert.

Chef Matt will begin by teaching you how to brew a homemade batch of umami-laden miso soup. Then, you will learn how to prepare the rice and fillings for a spicy tuna roll and a classic California roll. And for dessert, homemade mochi balls filled with sweet, creamy goodness.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
