Learn how to put a modern spin on traditional dishes in this hands-on team building class with Chef Ivan.
Gather with your group to learn all about modern culinary techniques that elevate traditional, classic dishes. Together with Chef Ivan, your team will get to explore their creativity while bonding over great food in the kitchen.
You and your team will start by creating a green barley salad with a spinach pesto twist, then master the art of traditional risotto paired with espresso and a savory parmesan foam. End with a modern take on a classic dessert: ice cream made with red beets and extra virgin olive oil.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Ivan’s zeal for cooking began at a very young age, leading him to attend culinary school at the ripe age of just 14. The Italian chef, who has cooked all over Europe, now lives in New York where he runs a catering company and volunteers teaching children kitchen skills. Chef Ivan focuses on Italian, French and sushi courses, and is excited to educate guests on new techniques.
