Chef Kausar’s love for cooking began over family meals in her hometown of Karachi, Pakistan. The bold flavors and satisfying dishes of Chef Kausar’s kitchen draw inspiration from her life in that bustling city. She built a 20-year culinary career spanning food styling, teaching, humanitarian work and even wrote a cookbook. Bringing people together over a meal gives Chef Kausar immense pleasure and is the heart behind all she does.

Chef Kauser was wonderful! She was a pleasure to have in our home and the meal was delicious. That said, I think the experience was a poor value. We did this as it was mostly a gift given to us. But at this price point we could have had several amazing meals out.

Our group had a fantastic experience with Chef Kausar who provided us with the history and context behind each dish from Pakistan. Not only were we filled with aromatic, delicious dishes, but we were filled with wonderful stories of her homeland and their traditions. She was also efficient at set up and cleaning up so that we hardly noticed. Chef Kausar gave our group an intimate and memorable experience that made our work retreat a huge success.

Loved the time we spent with Chef Kausar yesterday. The food was outstanding. She answered all of our questions (including the ones about fisheries and fishing in Pakistan). I think I'm still full. The tomato chutney was incredible. Was a great team building activity and learning experience.
