Online Cooking Class - Spanakopita and Baklava

I was lucky enough to get two ... classes for Christmas. They were honestly some of the best gifts I've ever received. I love to cook, love to eat, and Chef Vasia and Chef Mayuko made it feel like I was right there in a good friend's kitchen, learning new skills with humor and ease. Even better, I could tell the chefs and the ... virtual kitchen assistants were good friends - their chemistry alone made it feel like such a warm and inviting space! What a great concept. I got to make spanakopita, baklava, homemade udon noodles, teriyaki chicken, and a whole lot more. I can't wait to join 'em again soon!

The class has increased my own confidence in my kitchen skills and is an overall empowering experience. I sensed that each group member had a very positive experience that brought family units closer together. Positive interaction to a constructive goal is the fundamental objective of humanity, Chef Andrea and Dillon are obviously dedicated to achieving that through culinary instruction. Life shared ... would make life richer and more enjoyable everywhere.

The class was great. everything was explained throughout, so class would be great even for someone with no cooking experience. chef Andrea was amazing. very encouraging and has a great sense of humor!

My sisters and I joined on Zoom and made the delicious Spanish tapas with Chef Elena, who was a complete delight. She was patient and helpful and made everything readily understandable with a really fun accent to boot! I would definitely take another ... class.

I was given a gift certificate for Christmas. I was a little worried about this at first because I'm not a good cook and I was really worried about this. I chose the Spanish Tapas class based on the description and what I like to eat. The class was well done with the chef having a camera on her food as well one for her. Which meant she was able to talk to us and refer to the cooking. It felt better more personal that way. I also really liked that she was specific with measurements - there was no season to taste! She was also very good to ask us to wait till she did something tricky before we started so she could show us consistency along the way and then asked us to show the consistency of ours and gave us feedback on that. The kitchen helper was also very prompt at answering questions or breaking in and asking when I just chatted the questions. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I had a fantastic meal at the end!!

A truly delightful experience. Food was absolutely delicious. Chef was accommodating, hilarious, interactive, patient and kind. Moderator was very sweet and helpful, as well. An overall amazing time!

This was our third class ... and it was excellent as always. Chef Andrea is very engaging and makes the class fun and easy. We will be back!

The Chef and Virtual Assistant (Dillon) were exceptional! They were personable, attentive to details and extremely friendly. They referred to everyone by name when observing their progress and making suggestions. I felt that everyone on the call was engaged as the cooking progressed. It was enjoyable to listen to the interaction between the chef and others who have been to Rome in sharing their experiences. Outstanding!!!!

The Spaghetti Puttanesca and Chocolate Lava Cake class with Chef Andrea was was the perfect way to spend an afternoon with friends. We learned some helpful tips along the way with Chef Andrea and prepared a delightful meal which we shared. This was our third or fourth online class. We plan to continue working our way through the list of classes.
