What You’ll Do

Discover the unique cuisine of two of Italy's most exciting food regions with Chef Michael.

In this hands-on class with Chef Michael, you will take a culinary journey to Sicily and Puglia. While sun-soaked Sicily has a distinct cuisine that's steeped in history, Puglia has become a culinary destination due to it's rich soil making it one of the most productive agricultural regions in the country.

You will start by building a shaved vegetable salad showered with pecorino cheese. Then, learn how to prepare homemade cavatelli pasta topped with shrimp, peas and a mascarpone wine sauce. For dessert, create layers of flavor to be showcased in a sweet marsala zabaglione.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
