Be transported to another world entirely as you learn risotto-making techniques from an Italian native.
In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Luana will teach you the art of authentic risotto preparation by providing an introduction to the methodology behind risotto. Once you understand proper procedure, you can make many different variations from the basic concept.
After enjoying an appetizer of creamy, buttery fresh burrata, you can look forward to exploring a variety of velvety risottos, including mushroom and black truffle, as well as shrimp and zucchini. For dessert, create mini Italian hand pies, known as "crostatine," filled with simple and bright homemade preserves.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Born and raised in Italy, Chef Luana inherited a culinary passion from her grandmother. She has enjoyed entrepreneurial success at a beachside restaurant in Italy mainly due to her mastery with the pizza oven, as she is one of Italy’s few professional female pizza makers working with a wood burning oven. Chef Luana's old world recipes and techniques find new life in her classes with quality ingredients and genuine flavors.
