What You’ll Do

Be transported to another world entirely as you learn risotto-making techniques from an Italian native.

In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Luana will teach you the art of authentic risotto preparation by providing an introduction to the methodology behind risotto. Once you understand proper procedure, you can make many different variations from the basic concept.

After enjoying an appetizer of creamy, buttery fresh burrata, you can look forward to exploring a variety of velvety risottos, including mushroom and black truffle, as well as shrimp and zucchini. For dessert, create mini Italian hand pies, known as "crostatine," filled with simple and bright homemade preserves.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Luana was incredible! The food was delicious. She made everything seem easy. And on top of that, she was so lovely and personable. There was even a scheduling issue with Cozymeal that she handled with grace. I would highly recommend doing this class. We'll be back for her pizza class for sure!

Chef Luana is the best! We had a great time making risotto with her. You can tell she is exceptionally passionate and knowledgeable, and she really wants to share her expertise with others. We made 2 types of risotto: mushroom + shrimp and zucchini. I rarely eat seafood, but WOW - that shrimp risotto was excellent! She also helped us make beautiful pastries with homemade jam, and even prepared extras for us to take home; it was such a nice touch to a great evening! In addition, Chef Luana prepared a delicious salad and authentic, homemade bread for us to enjoy alongside our risotto dinner - we could not have asked for more. Go take her class, make some new friends and eat some amazing food! We'll be back to do it again!

Luana was amazing! I loved that she brought her family tradition to the ambiance of the class. My girlfriend took me to her class for my birthday ! And she couldn’t be sweeter . She put a big sign of 'Happy Birthday' in her living room just for me. Very generous with the food and her knowledge. Definitely an experience I’ll recommend!.
