Chef Rodney brings the far-reaching flavors and techniques essential to Asian cuisine right into reach.

In this hands-on class, Chef Rodney brings a sampling of staple Asian dishes to the table. His four-course menu gives you the opportunity to try your hand at the fundamental skills and basic techniques needed to bring any type of Asian cuisine to life.

You will begin by learning how to pack huge flavor into tiny packages with shrimp potstickers. Next, a highly addictive dish of kung pao chicken and broccoli, and a simple, yet flavorful vegetable fried rice. For the finale, a beautifully dramatic rice pudding with candied fruit.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Rodney made cooking enjoyable! Everything we made was delicious. I would definitely take another class from him.

Chef Rodney was so fun!! We had a great time. My only complaint is Chef did not get notice there were 2 additional people so we had 4 people on 2 portions of food and still had to pay for 4 people. Outside of that, it was fun.

My wife and I recently attended the Simplicity of Sushi course with Chef Rodney, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The class was held at Chef Rodney’s home, which was spotless and located in a safe, welcoming neighborhood. Chef Rodney was an exceptional host—warm, professional, and clearly passionate about his craft. His teaching style reflected his deep experience and culinary expertise. He was incredibly patient, not only with us but with all the guests, making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident throughout the class. We learned so much and truly enjoyed the hands-on approach. I highly recommend Chef Rodney, whether you’re interested in sushi or any other cooking class he offers. It was an unforgettable afternoon!
