Cooking Class - Classic Asian Comfort Foods

What You’ll Do

In this simple and flavor-packed feast, California fare is crafted with a Chinese-inspired twist.

In this hands-on class, Chef Eliza shows you how to prepare some of the most classic Asian comfort foods. Chef Eliza's love for all things flavorful, local, and fresh has inspired this creative and comforting four-course menu.

You will begin by learning how to pack an intense array of flavors into a simple peanut-seared edamame. Then, you will make a soul-warming wonton soup complete with dumplings as well as a better-than-takeout shrimp fried rice. A batch of light and tender Chinese almond cookies ends the class.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
