Cooking Class - Duck, Duck, Mousse

What You’ll Do

Indulge in the decadence and simple elegance of this French inspired, modern American three-course meal.

In this hands-on class, Chef Meg will teach you the techniques to create this comprehensive meal — complete with the inclusion of a secret family recipe!

You will begin with maple bacon deviled eggs for a sophisticated sweet-and-salty starter. Then, Chef Meg takes the intimidation out of seared duck breast, teaching you how to capture the luxury of it's tender texture. The blackberry madeira glaze adds tangy brightness to the duck that plays nicely with it's rich flavor and prepares your palate for the dark chocolate cherry mousse finale.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Meg was great! The food was amazing, my husband and I had never done anything like this before and it was such an awesome first experience. Chef Meg has some awesome stories, tips, and skills! + Doug. That’s all I’ll say. Doug stole the show!

Chef Meg was a wonderful host with a fun kitchen and full of little tips for preparing and serving delicious food! I'm biased to like dark meat poultry so of course I loved the duck, and geeked out about the deviled eggs and chocolate mouse. My date loved the food and got along famously with the Chef, and we both loved our time. Would do again!
