In this hands-on bread-making class, Chef Maggie will guide you through the proper preparation of three of the most classic breakfast bread staples: challah, English muffins, and bagels.
Begin by learning how to create the subtle sweetness and crowd pleasing plait signature to a classic challah loaf. Then, Chef Maggie reveals the secret to making the perfect English muffins, complete with craggy dips begging to hold pools of melted better. Lastly, you will shape, boil, and bake chewy, complex bagels with a crackly thin crust and soft, fluffy interior.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
