Learn how to make classic French recipes with new professional techniques.
Chef Shahida teaches you a selection of recipes and techniques that would be right at home on a French country table. In this cooking class, you'll learn how to make ratatouille, roast and cut a whole hen and get an introduction to making French sauces.
First, prepare French onion soup with a crusty gruyère crostini, roasted Cornish hen with herb butter, rosemary potatoes, and a seasonal ratatouille brimming with eggplant, squash and sweet onions. For dessert, you'll poach pears in red wine with warm spices.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
