We booked this couples cooking class with Chef Terri in the DC area and LOVED it! Her venue is fantastic and the food was delicious.

Cooking classes should be fun and educational, but Terri takes them to a whole new level! First of all, her beautiful kitchen is just perfect for a group of semi-serious cooks. And her welcoming ways makes the whole experience inspiring and full of joy. Terri is an excellent teacher, with lots of interesting and helpful cooking tips and her recipes are excellent. Our class was on soups and stews, but we also got advice on seasonings, types of squash, meat cuts, thickeners, and even slicing skills. At the end of the class, we sat down at her gorgeous table and enjoyed the food we had prepared. A perfect afternoon! Looking forward to taking future classes.

I just took the roasted chicken cooking class with Terri. My teenage daughter & friends took a class with Terri back in February and they loved it! Ever since then I have wanted to take a class of my own. Finally I did yesterday & it was so much fun AND so informative! My mother & sister joined me and we learned how to prepare the most delicious roast chicken with vegetables. Following her recipe is so simple...I will make this delicious & easy dinner once a week for my family for sure! Terri welcomed us into her beautiful kitchen & had drinks & appetizers for us to start. Next we prepared the beautiful meal including a delicious spinach salad & an amazingly simple yet stunning apple tart drizzled with caramel sauce. Then we all sat down and enjoyed the delicious food we just prepared. It was such a relaxing & fun environment in which to cook...the most enjoyable afternoon! Throughout the class Terri shared chef tricks, shopping secrets & a ton of helpful hints for everyday cooking. I can't wait to take another one of her classes! Perfect venue for girls night/day out AND teenage birthday party/get together for your budding foodie! My daughter now makes us the dinner she learned to prepare with Terri!!

I recently took a group of friends to participate in Terri's "Cooking Class and Brunch"...and am so very happy with the whole experience. Terri is a gracious hostess and an accomplished cook. This is not a traditional cooking class experience. Terri's approach to teaching is inclusive and instructive...she invites the guests to get involved in the process, and seamlessly manages to share tips, tricks, and resources for making all of the delicious food that you'll eat at the end of the class. Along the way, regardless of your own level of culinary expertise, you will learn a thing or three! Actually, it feels more like she's letting you in on some treasured "secrets" than teaching! I can't think of a nicer way to spend an afternoon than at Terri's...beautiful surroundings, great food, and fun.

Terri is a fantastic chef and teacher. I've taken two cooking classes with her (Super Bowl Party Food) and have another cooking class planned (Winter Soups). Terri always prepares excellent menus for classes and you'll be tasting all the yummy food that's made. Her class is casual and she always offers excellent tips while teaching us how to prepare the dishes. I love that Terri has the perfect kitchen to utilize to teach her cooking classes. I guarantee you'll have the most unique experience with amazing results.

Just spectacular. Chef Terri is a knowledgable, kind and very hospitable chef who will provide you with a unique and fun cooking class experience. The salmon was delicious (one of the best I have had) and the cake out of this world. As a very passionate chef and someone whose mission is to empower others to cook more and healthier food, Chef Terri is a great chef at explaining different techniques and guiding you through the cooking process. Her venue is just beautiful and he assistant (whose name I have forgotten) was really nice and helpful.

Chef Terri is a wonderful hostess who welcomes you into her stunning home with grace and kindness. She is clear and helpful and clearly knows her stuff. Her ingredients couldn't be fresher - fresh herbs sourced from her stunning garden - and the resulting food is beyond delicious. From juicy Heirloom tomato salad with crispy parmesan to PERFECTLY cooked, juicy, tender Salmon to tangy lemon pound cake. She makes learning to cook effortless. Couldn't recommend this experience highly enough!
