For public cooking classes, menu changes cannot be made. For private events, most dietary restrictions can be accommodated if noted prior to the event. Please mention this in the message field when you submit your booking request.

Meet your chef
Chef Peter's culinary journey may have begun in Northern California, but it's taken him around the U.S., with stops in D.C. and Nantucket. He honed his talent in well-regarded eateries, eventually rising to the level of executive chef. His restaurant experience includes a stint at the Watergate Hotel. Now happily settled in Seattle, Chef Peter is often found sharing his skills in cooking classes and with local and national nonprofits.

I enjoyed the class. The desserts were tasty. I had thought we were making all three recipes, but the chef ended up making one of them which was time-consuming. It might have been nicer to include one that wasn't as time-consuming so we could have three hands-on bakes. I have not received the recipes as yet, but since they were affected by the global IT outage, I'm not worried about that yet.

I suppose I was expecting to have more time to learn about the pasta making. By dividing into groups and not providing the recipe, it felt quite rushed. I wish cozymeal would offer more classes that are in depth over date night excursions.

We really enjoyed the class and the food. Chef Jeff and his assistants were informative and friendly, putting the group at ease. My crème brûlée was the best I’ve ever had! I’m going to go home and replicate it now?

Great chef, great teacher! We had an amazing time and learned a lot. There’s something for everyone; Chef Peter is a natural teacher. My highest recommendation! Also, the delicious results didn’t hurt. ;)

Very fun and informative cooking class. So fun to get ideas from Chef Peter on how to use some of the ingredients we used in the recipes in other dishes. The cooking space was nice and roomy as well.

Not quite as expected, including no Chef Peter. While the evening was fun and we learned some things, the Chef and the kitchen were disorganized with recipes, equipment, etc.

Class was canceled without notice. Was told after we arrived that all participants had been notified and refunded but that was definitely not the case.

I had the pleasure of a Thai style meal with the Resident Chef. It was fun, educational, delicious and I had a good time meeting the couple at the same table. I learned how to make Phad Thai, a curry soup, and a steak salad. The chef was very engaging and making sure we were following directions while also encouraging us to find the right balance of the ingredients. People would ask " how much pepper to use?' and the reply was something like "add to your taste" , allowing us to creatively make the meal.

It was not Chef Peter. It felt haphazard and not well prepared or planned. For the amount of money I spent, I’m honestly disappointed.

Absolutely loved the class. I'm an experienced baker and have wanted to make macarons. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable. I enjoyed the class so much, I'm considering taking the class again as it was so much fun!!!

I loved the class. The ladies I was paired up with were a little chatty so was hard to listen to chef! Before class I was very intimidated but after class I was I got this! Excited to try making fresh pasta my self! Great class over all would definitely take again!
