Cooking Class - 3-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Flavor Adventure

What You’ll Do

Young cooks discover a world of flavor with three days of kitchen adventures.

This immersive cooking series designed for ages 7-11 brings flavors and techniques from around the world to beginner chefs. An experienced chef instructor will guide students as they expand their palates with dishes from Europe to Asia. Collaborating with classmates, they will prepare tender pork buns, knead fresh pasta dough, bake crunchy schnitzel and more. Summer cooking classes inspire culinary creativity while teaching essential kitchen skills including basic food preparation and safety practices. After completing the series, each student will earn a printed menu and graduation certificate.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes.В Parents do not stay during the classes.

Chef Sara was amazing! The overall experience was great. However, before our session was over, other staff members from began prepping for apparantly another event or something else. It was distracting and a bit disturbing that they were working in the same space as Chef Sara. Although it didn't bother her, I thought that it was a bit out of place for them to begin working while we were still having a paid experience that was to only have included the Chef and the staff working with her. I was also very dissatisfied with the Cozymeal customer service. I sent several messages and never received a response from anyone. We had five team members, including our CEO, that had to cancel at the last minute and I wanted to be sure to alert someone so that Chef Sara was aware we wouldn't have as many guests. But when I didn't receive a response to my first two messages, I didn't bother reaching out on the website. We do a lot of team events and was hoping I had a good experience with arranging this event for our group. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in my first experience with Cozymeal.

Chef Ashley was competent, kind and patient. The food was delicious! I brought my daughter, Paisley, for her 32nd birthday. It was an awesome birthday gift for her and an awesome experience for us. Thank you!

It was fun but I wish we could’ve worked with our group only. I don’t want other peoples hands in my food and it’s hard when you have a kid in your group and need to let them do everything. I was very disappointed in this. The class was very rushed at the end too.
