WHAT YOU’LL DO

5-days of cooking fun, giving your teen helpful skills to thrive in the kitchen.

Set your teen up with all of the cookery skills theyâ€™ll ever need with this fun, 5-day workshop, part of our summer cooking classes series. Throughout the sessions, your fledgling foodie will develop essential kitchen knowledge, including how to prep and store food safely, and professional cooking and baking techniques, all under the guidance of an experienced chef instructor. At the end of the week, your teen will be presented with a graduation certificate and a printed menu, plus the skills to create their own delicious dishes.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes.Â Parents do not stay during the classes.

Hi - we have done cozy meal in the past. This time. we did not have chef Tina and it was not in her home as advertised, but at sur la table. Our chef was great as was the menu, but our time was far too rushed for what we were cooking - both for him and for us. This was an expensive outing and an additional hour in the kitchen would have made the experience more enjoyable for all.

My husband and I had a wonderful time making pasta carbonara and chicken piccata with Chef Julie and her assistant Emily. I am sure we will schedule another class soon, we both really enjoyed it, learned a lot and had a great meal with leftovers to bring home.
