WHAT YOU’LL DO

Teach your teen to be adventurous in the kitchen with a cooking class.
Summer cooking classes are a great way to get your kids involved in the kitchen. This cooking series geared toward teens 12 and up will introduce new concepts that make their favorite stand-by recipes more adventurous. Over the course of 5 days, teens will get to experiment with unfamiliar ingredients from proteins to sides to sauces, and they'll learn valuable lessons about kitchen safety at the same time. They'll leave a sense of accomplishment and a printed list of all the recipes they've learned.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.
This event is suitable for kids aged 12-17
