Cooking Class - 3-Day Foodie Fun Teens: International Baking - Boulder

What You'll Do

Students will learn baking basics and beyond in this hands-on class.

In this interactive cooking series, students aged 12 and older will learn the basics of cooking etiquette, skills and techniques while working their way through delicious, simple chef-crafted recipes. It’s a chance to check out one of the best summer cooking classes out there while students build confidence and knowledge that they will bring with them into adulthood. Plus, at the end of the class, each student will take home their own printed menu and graduation certificate to show how far they’ve come.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

We made blueberry pie, smokes brownies, and funnel cake. My husband and I really enjoyed the experience and Chef Ashley. We learned many tips and tricks that will make our lives easier. I cannot wait to try a pie on my own. Thank you!

My daughter registered me for the Savory Breads from Around the World class for my birthday. I am so glad she did! Chef Cameron was very encouraging and answered all of our questions. He explained the science behind bread, showed us different techniques, and made sure we didn't burn the building down! All of the breads and the dukkah we made turned out beautiful and delicious. If you haven't had the pleasure of dipping your bread in olive oil then in dukkah, you are missing out! Overall, it was a great experience and I look forward to signing up for my next class.
