We worked with Oscar and had an amazing time! His passion for food made it so fun.
Great experience with Chef Roddy and all of the chefs. It really helped to learn to cook in a professional kitchen, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I'll be using Cozymeal again for cooking classes for sure.
We loved the chef and learned a few things but the class was supposed to go 3 hrs but ended at 1 1/2 hrs. We did not get to make the dessert or the Ceasar Dressing. A bit disappointed on that.
Group of 8 and we had an excellent time!
Great experience! So much fun and great food!!
Experience was great. The resident/Chef Roddy were able to accommodate late adds to our party and were very hospitable. Restaurant was a little warm inside when we arrived but AC was turned up and the fan was out on. Overall great Mother’s Day experience.
This was such a fun experience. Thank you!
We had a great time with Chef Rodney and his team. We had about 11 people in our group and the reviews of the class and the meal all came back fantastic from our team. The only thing I'd want to warn future participants of is that this experience is a bit of a blend between having a cooking class and a meal. The Chef's team ran us through a few recipes as a group like making a scratch Ceasar Dressing, bolognese, and garlic bread. Then we all divided into small groups and tried our hand at making pasta. We sampled our creations, but then a bit of cooking show magic happened, and Chef's team took over. They brought out premade portions for the rest of the meal and brought it together. So we got to have a very nice meal served. Had some fun in the kitchen. And had a great private experience. Great event, I'm a big fan.
Very enjoyable and relaxed experience with a very friendly and capable chef Albert. Was well prepared ingredients and easy to execute steps with clear guidance to prepare the four course meal! Great family bonding for the three of us.
Roddy is an amazing chef and his team was so kind and accommodating. They made my birthday very special. My friends and I really enjoyed our selves and it was a very great learning experience. This class will definitely make you want to get in the kitchen!
Chef Oscar was a good teacher. He embraced our desire to have a great, fun time celebrating my daughters’ birthdays.?
Wonderful experience! Thank you!!
Chef Elbert was wonderful. Thanks for having us!
Great experience. Will come back for other lessons in the future.
Chef Albert was the best. Very patient, accommodating and professional. We will be back for another class.
I do not recommend this cooking class unless you are a very beginner cook. We had to ask to be taught vs the chef simply cooking and us watching. Not to mention everything but the pasta was pre made so salad making was just chopping lettuce (dressing was already made so nothing to learn there), garlic bread was just spreading already made butter on rolls and dessert also made already. We also had a resident chef who definitely seemed like a solid cook, but with poor teaching skills. Despite the description only fettuccine making is an option too, which is misleading. A huge disappointment of an experience and overall waste of time and money.
Horrible experience that was essentially a scam. Chef Roddy was not present. We were barely given an opportunity to prepare any of the dishes and were essentially taught nothing. Starting with the sauce, the chef just made the sauce themselves. They did not give instructions, only listed ingredients or quantities when we asked. There was no instruction given on how to make the pasta besides combining flour plus egg and barely any oversight as they were focused on making the sauce behind us. There was no option to make gnocchi or ravioli as in the description. We were not taught to make the salad address from scratch as in the description as this was prepared in advance. Additionally, the panna cotta was also prepared in advance so there was no teaching there. At every opportunity, things were made in advance and done as quickly as possible by the chef without us and without any sort of instruction. We felt rushed despite being the only group of 3 and left an hour before our designated time. This seemed like this “cooking class†was doing below to bare minimum just to check off the boxes.
AVOID THIS CHEF. I recieved this class as a birthday present and the chef was initially responsive but then the day prior to our class stopped responding. Did not provide the location or follow-up any messages with where to meet for the class with specific address despite them being read as (seen). He took our course money and then refused to respond to customer service about the issue when I asked for a refund or new course date. Very disappointed by the poor customer service from both cozymeal and this chef. Would recommend picking someone else to avoid being scammed.
I booked this class for Valentine’s Day. It was disappointing as the food we ate was made beforehand and we did not get to do any cooking. The experience was not as advertised and neither was the food.
Experience was not at all as described. We weren’t able to really cook anything. Everything was already made and prepared before arrival. We did not get to pick which kind of pasta we could prepare. The food was good, but for the price we would’ve just gone to a fancy restaurant instead. We did not get the cooking class experience that we paid for. The Chef said that since there were too many people, it wasn’t going to be possible to cook and prepare everything as described on the website. Truly disappointed by the experience.

The classes were great! Everyone loved both classes. The service and food were too notch. The only thing I wish was that there was more competition, as it was billed as a competition team building experience. Otherwise, every single person (all 34 people at 2 separate events) absolutely loved it and are stilll raving about it from weeks ago.
