What You’ll Do

Learn the culinary basics of crafting three classic desserts in this technique-focused class.

Join Chef Susie, a savant in classic baking, for a cooking class focused on three classic desserts that are timeless and perfect for dinner parties, date night or just because.

Start by making chocolate pots de creme, a simple yet decadent French chocolate pudding, and another French classic: Cherry clafoutis, a simple vanilla custard studded with fruit. End class by preparing thin and crunchy Belgian lace cookies sandwiched together with chocolate ganache. Chef Susie will also teach you how to properly organize your baking ingredients and select the best ingredients.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Susie was most warm and welcoming. She made both of us and the other two participants feel right at home. She engaged us all in the meal preparation, sharing information throughout and ably fielding all questions. And, of course, capped off by a delicious French dinner. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
