What You’ll Do

Learn to mix, proof, and bake three kinds of bread in this hands-on baking class.

Join Chef Peter as he leads you through the art of bread making, from the first toss of flour to smart baking practices. In this baking class, you'll make crusty baguette and batard loaves from light, white-wheat flour as well a hearty country loaf from a combination of wheat and rye meals.

You'll also learn bakery techniques for mixing, proofing your dough and baking, including using a baking stone and peel, and scoring with a "lame," or razor. This class is suitable for all bakers, from beginner to intermediate level.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
