Begin with an alternative to tortillas by making Parmesan cups filled with chicken and avocado, then make three-cheese sausage bites featuring sharp cheddar, provolone and Parmesan accompanied by a spicy mustard dipping sauce. Next, craft a crispy, crunchy cauliflower pizza crust topped with bacon, shaved celery and homemade buttermilk ranch dressing, and end with a bang and make cookies and cream cheesecake bombs with an almond crust.

My husband and I recently attended a cooking session with Chef Ruel. From the very beginning, he made all of us feel welcome and comfortable. His apartment is super clean and organized, and the space is truly ideal for this type of event. Chef Ruel is very knowledgeable about cooking techniques, recipes and skills, yet he introduces this knowledge in an easy-to-understand format. He asked lots of questions of us, and his goal was to make the experience fun and non-intimidating. That being said, we had so much fun, the food was absolutely amazing, and we came away with many great ideas. We plan to make this exact meal for an upcoming dinner party that we are hosting for friends. I hope to take more classes with Chef Ruel!

Cooking class with Chef Ruel was a fantastic experience! My boyfriend and I attended the Spanish Tapas class right before Valentine's day. Chef Ruel had a lovely setup with all the necessary ingredients at hand. Another couple was also present for the class and we all split up to chop and prepare different parts of the meal. Chef Ruel provided some basic cooking tips as well ad advanced instruction on how everything comes together for the final presentation. We had a delightful time taking the class and really enjoyed spending the evening with the other couple, Chef Ruel, and Shelly.
