When prepared simply, food can be the ultimate form of medicine. Discover the wonderful world of healthy, healing food in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Kristen where you will learn how to make four delicious and nourishing dishes and drinks.

First, you'll learn how to prepare a creamy avocado and arugula salad alongside a miso soup with zucchini noodles and cultured vegetables. Next, blend up a tangy mango, orange and berry smoothie, and a healthy yet decadent chocolate, coconut and maple syrup mousse for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Our experience with Kristen was superb! She is very knowledgeable and is an excellent teacher. I had many questions which she answered and I learned so much. The food was delicious too. I definitely recommend her class.

We had such a great time with Kristen. She was very warm and inviting and so smart. I can't wait to take another class with her. My husband and sister both had a great time as well. My advice is to come hungry you get plenty of yummy food to eat! You will not be disappointed!

Kristen is the real deal. My husband surprised me with this gift of cooking and I am so happy he did. She customized our meal to our food preferences, we got to have as much hands on time as we wanted and last but not least that woman can cook!! It was so delicious and her easy going demeanor made for a great evening. She also is a wealth of information for nutrition and I really learned a lot. Can't wait to cook again with her.
