Learn how to make hearty and delicious vegetarian favorites that everyone can (and will) enjoy.

In this hands-on class with Chef Kristen, you'll learn how to prepare a hearty vegetarian meal that has magical abilities to convert any vegetable skeptic in your life.

You will begin by learning how to make pecan meatless patties that hold up great, are anything but bland, and are the perfect canvas for a savory tomato-herb sauce. You will then discover how fluffy rice and green bean pilaf, and roasted garlic broccolini and yellow squash side dishes come together to make for perfect plate mates with your pecan patties!

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Kristin is so lovely to be around and extremely welcoming. I loved listening to her stories and her unique upbringing with food. Her recipes are hearty, healthy, yet delicious. She also grows a lot of her own herbs and vegetables that she uses in her cooking, which gives them that added fresh flair and flavor. This goes back to how she grew up eating lots of homegrown fruits and veggies. Most of the recipes she prepared were vegan/vegetarian, so if you are looking to learn how to cook in this style for yourself or even entertain a large group, Chef Kristin is your girl!

Our experience with Kristen was superb! She is very knowledgeable and is an excellent teacher. I had many questions which she answered and I learned so much. The food was delicious too. I definitely recommend her class.

We had such a great time with Kristen. She was very warm and inviting and so smart. I can't wait to take another class with her. My husband and sister both had a great time as well. My advice is to come hungry you get plenty of yummy food to eat! You will not be disappointed!
