In this hands-on class with Chef Josh, you will learn how to prepare a decadent three-course dinner menu featuring steak from Austin's premiere butcher shop that only sells A3 quality steak and above, and sources from sustainable Texas ranches.

Chef Josh will begin by teaching you how to prepare a swoon-worthy steak tartare with toasted French baguette slices and fresh duck egg yolk. For the main course, you will learn how to concoct a sake miso marinade for your thick-cut, 16-ounce steak cooked exactly how you like it — without a timer.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I took my wife to Josh’s class for Mother’s Day. The steak was some of the best that I’ve ever had. All of the food was delicious. We learned a ton of tricks and tips on how to prepare the food. However, the real benefit of the class was getting to know Josh. He was a very nice and charismatic person. He made it a very enjoyable and fun experience. I’d highly recommend him to anyone.

Great learning and cooking experience!! We loved the steak taretar and the steak itself! The whole process on removing the yolk from the egg, and the details like saffron salt made all the difference. This class was a blast and the food was even better!
