Cooking Class - Mexican Staples Made Keto

What You’ll Do

Create four classic Mexican dishes with a low-carb twist in this class with Chef Angie.

Going keto does not mean giving up your favorite Mexican foods. In this four-course cooking class, Chef Angie will teach you how to adapt traditional dishes to a ketogenic diet.

You will begin with a breakfast bake of eggs, chorizo, cheddar and jalapeГ±os. Then, prepare a cactus salad topped with cheese and an optional addition of crispy grasshoppers. The last savory dish of the class will be low-carb quesadillas filled with squash blossoms. Finally, learn how to make homemade churros using gluten-free almond and coconut flour.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

My wife & I have taken a number of other cooking classes, which were nice, but this one was by far the best yet. I've been on the Keto diet about 6 months (losing over 30 pounds), but really missed Mexican food. Angie's fresh take on Keto-friendly Mexican dishes was a revelation. Angie is knowledgeable, thorough, and just plain friendly. We spent the whole afternoon with her, and it seemed to go by so fast. We plan to take more classes with her in the future! Can recommend her classes without reservation.
