Cooking Class - Vegetarian Sushi 101

What You’ll Do

Get ready to learn the basics of creating vegetarian sushi right in your own kitchen.

In this hands-on class with Chef Lee, you will learn how to prepare an impressive spread of vegetarian sushi using an array of fresh, high-quality ingredients and traditional Japanese cooking techniques.

Chef Lee will begin by teaching you how to build an assorted vegetable nigiri platter featuring avocado, cucumber, and asparagus. Then, you will learn the skills needed to handcraft a vegetable roll before building layers upon layers of flavor into a vegetarian Japanese rice bowl — known as donburi — that is perfect for busy weeknights and leftover lunches.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
