Join in on a culinary experience that takes the intimidation out of the sushi-making equation.

In this hands-on class with Chef Paolo, you will learn how to become your own sushi chef and prepare a menu of customary sushi restaurant classics right in your own kitchen.

Chef Paolo will begin by teaching you how to make sushi rice following the Japanese time-honored traditions before using incredibly fresh ingredients to roll yourself into sushi nirvana. You can also look forward to creating a perfectly flaky and crunchy tempura as well as ending with a fun modern dessert of matcha sorbet sided by homemade crispy ginger waffles.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Paolo was incredibly informative, conversational and well-organized. He not only taught us how to make amazing sushi, but everyday techniques like how to properly use a knife, cut an onion as well as expert French and Japanese cooking techniques. I highly recommend this experience to everyone of any level of cooking.

We had an amazing time with Chef Paolo- he's a delight! He used extremely high quality ingredients in all of his dishes, taught us a lot about how to make everything, and shared great stories about the history of each dish and how all of the flavors come together!
