Cooking Class - A Focus on Seasonal Fare

What You’ll Do

Join Chef Veronica for a simple meal built around fresh, seasonal produce.

Seasonal eating is not only popular, but it is healthy and economical, too, incorporating many fresh fruits and vegetables only available at certain times of the year. Focusing on fresh produce increases the complex carbohydrates in your diet in a way that is fun and feels natural.

Chef Veronica will begin the class by teaching you how to build a salad featuring cucumbers and guava, then you'll learn how to perfectly cook spicy pineapple chicken with an herbed pilaf. Finish off with sweet roasted guava and yams.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

A great experience! Chef Veronica did a great job preparing a tasty dish of blackened catfish with a papaya mango salad. Great conversation about her background, the food scene, and life in general! A fun and unique way to do a birthday!

Veronica is extremely knowledgeable. She created really well paired dishes. We truly enjoyed Veronicas company, her enthusiasm for cooking, and the conversations we shared. Her love of food rubbed off on all of us. It was like having an old friend for dinner.

Chef Veronica was great. She welcomed us into her home and brought really positive energy to the cooking class experience. She answered any and all questions about blanching, knife sharpening, and more! The food was delicious and the experience was so memorable. It got my husband and I inspired to cook and experiment more. Thank you!
