For your first course, you'll make incredibly creamy grits mixed with cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms and ham, and topped with sautГ©ed shrimp. Another Southern classic is up next: crispy fried chicken on top of warm, crunchy waffles. While dessert is not a common occurrence at breakfast, this is brunch, so bring it on! Kaia was inviting from the minute I walked in. Her restaurant is absolutely adorable and I loved the theme, it’s so playful! The setup for the class was perfect for a more intimate group or a larger one. The food was beyond reproach and the plating she showed was a lot of fun! Definitely an A+ for this instructor.

Chef Kaia has spent a significant portion of her culinary career working her way up in a well-known hotel chain, from cook to sous chef to banquet chef. Then, she attended and graduated culinary school, and returned to the hotel where she grew her culinary prowess to take on the coveted role of executive chef. Chef Kaia currently owns a restaurant and catering company, and looks forward to sharing her passion with you!
