Cooking Class - Homemade Valencian Paella

What You’ll Do

Learn the art of preparing traditional Spanish paella in this class with Chef AJ.

In this hands-on Spanish cooking class, you will learn how to make four dishes inspired by the port city of Valencia.

The main focus of this class will be paella, prepared in a Valencian style. While paella is often seafood-heavy, the one you will learn how to make contains three types of meat. Chef AJ will also teach you how to make smoky marinated prawns with polenta bread, and clams and mussels cooked in sherry and garlic. End the class on a sweet note with an orange-spiked Italian flan.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class, or alcohol can be purchased on site.

Chef AJ was really friendly and very knowledgeable. Our group really enjoyed the meal, and learned some things about Catalan cuisine along the way.
