In this hands-on class with Chef Josh, you will learn how to prepare a three-course beef-centric menu in worldly ways that go beyond the ubiquitous American barbecue.

You will begin by journeying to the plains of Mongolia where the consumption of raw meat gave rise to steak tartare — a dish touted for its luxurious creaminess. From there, your journey will continue to the beaches and hills of Japan. It's there where you will learn how the flavors of the sea can compliment a decadent and rather uncommon cut of beef.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I took my wife to Josh’s class for Mother’s Day. The steak was some of the best that I’ve ever had. All of the food was delicious. We learned a ton of tricks and tips on how to prepare the food. However, the real benefit of the class was getting to know Josh. He was a very nice and charismatic person. He made it a very enjoyable and fun experience. I’d highly recommend him to anyone.

Great learning and cooking experience!! We loved the steak taretar and the steak itself! The whole process on removing the yolk from the egg, and the details like saffron salt made all the difference. This class was a blast and the food was even better!
