After learning how to concoct a homemade herb balsamic vinaigrette for a colorful mixed green salad, Chef John will share with you the secrets to perfectly cooked New York strip steak and pan-seared scallops. You can also look forward to learning how to prepare butter poached potatoes, cauliflower poblano purГ©e, char-grilled corn salsa, and more!

I enjoyed my time with Chef John. He was very pleasant, patient, and great at his craft. I enjoyed watching him demonstrate how to gently bathe scallops in butter. I was also amazed and how simple it is to make key lime pie but the best part about Chef John is how well balanced the flavors are together. I'd call him the zen of chefs - grounded and well balanced. No one ingredient overpowered the other rather they each complimented each other whether it be the cauliflower puree and scallops or the salmon with the root vegetables and pinot noir reduction.
