Cooking Class - Homemade Manicotti

What You’ll Do

Discover the beautiful art of preparing delicate, creamy, melt-in-your-mouth manicotti from scratch with Chef Sally.

In this hands-on class with Chef Sally, you'll learn how to prepare a traditional four-course Italian menu using fresh, high-quality ingredients and time-honored Italian cooking techniques that would make any Nonna proud.

After beginning with a refreshing salad and simple vegetable antipasto with garden fresh zucchini and garlic, you'll begin making your manicotti from scratch. Chef Sally will share with you the techniques for making crespelle, which you'll then roll with your homemade ricotta-artichoke filling. You'll end with a creamy, light ricotta zeppole with lemon curd for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Sally went above and beyond with providing us a fun and enjoyable dinner night. The food was so easy to make, and tasted delicious! We learned a ton of cooking tips and tricks, and just had an overall blast. Sally’s passion for cooking is simply the best, and we hope to cook again with her soon!

We really enjoyed Sally’s Mediterranean cooking class! She gave us insightful prep and cooking tips while imparting her general philosophy of her approach to cooking. She encouraged our active participation and answered our many questions. We particularly enjoyed her warmth and friendliness throughout the evening. Within a short time, it felt as though we had known her for a much longer time. We would highly recommend Sally to anyone looking for an evening of good company, delicious food, and sharpening of cooking skills!

Had such a great experience with Chef Sally! She was very personable and made the whole cooking process very approachable and unintimidating. We participated in the cooking and learning as much as we wanted but also socialized and relaxed if we felt like it. The meal was delicious and we learned a few things that will definitely take it to the daily cooking routine. Thank you Sally!
