What You’ll Do

Journey to Mexico City and explore the classic and cosmopolitan flavors that earmark the culture.

In this hands-on class with Chef Robin, you'll have the unique opportunity to explore Mexico City's modern side as you venture beyond the old school cantinas and into the exploding culinary scene the city is currently experiencing.

After beginning with shrimp tostadas garnished with avocado crema and cotija cheese, Chef Robin will teach you how to make a simply outstanding ancho chile and garlic paste that will take your roast chicken to a whole new level. For dessert, you'll enjoy Mexican chocolate ice cream topped with a chocolate chile sauce.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

She has since owned a private dining business and ran the culinary program at Sur La Table. This is in addition to her 10-plus years of experience teaching highly regarded, hands-on cooking classes. Most of all, Chef Robin loves sharing her approach to food and cooking: simple preparations, seasonal ingredients, and global flavors.

Our experience with Chef Robin was excellent! She showed up at our apartment with all ingredients and supplies and we didn't even need to clean up afterwards. Chef was knowledgeable and we had a real hands on experience and learned a lot of recipe secrets and knife skills too. The menu Chef created was perfect for spring and everything was so delicious. I'd highly recommend Chef Robin for your Cozymeal experience!

Chef Robin was nothing short of amazing! Beyond the wonderful food she demonstrated and prepared with my wife and I for Valentine’s Day, the conversation was fantastic. We traded funny story stories while we learned and she could not have made us feel more comfortable. We made a barrage of french cuisine including fresh baguettes, beef stew and chocolate fondue for desert. The food was exquisite and the company was A+. We will be having robin to cook for us and friends in the near future!
