Join Chef Shailini and learn the secrets to throwing a fancy, fun, and stress-free soirГ©e!

In this hands-on class with Chef Shailini, you'll learn how to make five fun and fancy hors d'oeuvres that are sure to impress your guests.

Chef Shailini will begin by teaching you how to work with both phyllo dough and puff pastry to create flaky, crispy, buttery layers in French palmiers and Greek spanakopita. You'll also learn how to prepare never-fail crowd-pleasing deviled eggs with a sweet and salty bacon topping. Chef Shailini will end on a festive note as you make a sparkling drink together.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Shailini was born in Nepal, and with her father being a well-known diplomat, the family lived all over the world. A life long educator, Chef Shailini taught at both Boston University and Northeastern University earlier in her career, and while she enjoyed that a great deal, she is currently living her true passion at several well-known Boston institutions teaching people how to cook food that is both nutritious and delicious. Chef Shailini also does a great deal of volunteer work.

An unbelievable experience! Highly recommend to all. A great date night. The food is amazing, and Shailini even provided us tupperware to take home leftovers (the food made a great lunch the next day at work too.) She also prepared bonus dishes and provided bonus recipes afterwords. Shailini is warm, funny, welcoming, and wants her guests to feel comfortable. She invites all to participate to whatever degree they're comfortable with. Will be taking a class with her again.

Chef Shailini hosted our appetizers class even though the rest of the class cancelled due to bad weather, so we got a private class! Chef Shailini was awesome, very friendly, and happy to answer all of our questions. The food was delicious and we plan to use some of the recipes for our holiday gathering!
