Cooking Class - Taste of Napa in New York

What You’ll Do

Celebrate the flavors of Napa and California wine country through food in this hands-on class.

In this hands-on class, you will have the unique opportunity to savor the gastronomy and oenology of Napa and California wine country.

Wine country cuisine is defined by recipes celebrating seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, made fresh by hand, and generally in an uncomplicated American and Mediterranean style. Because ingredients change with Mother Nature, menus change frequently, too. But one thing is consistent. You will learn how to coax the best flavors out of inventive ingredient pairings, an interplay of textures, and artful dashes of seasoning.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

The chef was very personable and knowledgeable. The class was fun and the meal turned out delicious. One wish was maybe a glass of wine with the meal.
