Very fun experience So much sushi!

Chef Suying’s sushi class was so much fun! I booked it as a Christmas gift for my brother and we really enjoyed it. Chef Suying and her husband were very welcoming and made the experience delightful. We made a variety of rolls and were able to customize them to our liking. My brother and I were worried we would leave hungry, but that was definitely not the case. If you are interested in learning how to make delicious sushi, I highly recommend taking Chef Suying’s class!

We had a great time with Chef Suying! We learned to make 5 different types of traditional Japanese sushi and they were all delicious. She is very knowledgeable and the atmosphere is very clean and comfortable. We got to take home lots of leftovers as well.

Chef Suying hosted me and my family for an evening of all things Sushi!! We had such a wonderful time and learned the important details of making really good sushi - my adult children enjoyed this gift very much because they both wanted to learn how to make their own sushi rolls and now know how to! Our experience exceeded all expectations. Chef Suying is knowledgeable, professional, well prepared, and very focused on teaching every aspect of the process, tools and techniques. We learned so much in our first foray into sushi preparation that we are ready to try on our own and we want to learn much more. We also had a truly excellent meal in the process. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our time. When we arrived Chef Suying greeted us with a very friendly welcome and introduced us to her "sous chef", who also enhanced our experienced and was very helpful throughout. Chef Suying had been setting things up for quite some time - as it turns out she began early in the morning before going to her day job as a chef in a leading area hotel - and she put a lot more time into prior to our arrival. Her planning and preparation showed in every detail. We had good workspace, cutlery and excellent explanations, as each item was clearly explained and each step was taught through instruction, demonstration and hands on practice. It was also an amazing value based on her time, what we learned, and the quality of the food. We are already planning to return for another lesson and to bring friends and family. Chef Suying was wonderful! We did this as a team bonding activity for work. She and her husband welcomed us into their home and we had a very authentic home-cooking experience. We made dumplings, lemon chicken, and these great almond cookies... everything was smooth (she did a lot of prep beforehand) and fun! We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and shared an amazing meal at the end. We even got copies of the recipes to take home. If you're looking for an interesting evening activity and/or to expand your culinary abilities, I'd definitely recommend this class! Chef Suying is very knowledgeable and makes it fun.

Suying and her husband Kevin were such great hosts! We had a great company team outing at their lovely home. The food was delish and the surprise dessert at the end was the literal cherry on top!

Chef Suying was great! She was welcoming and warm and had great tips for cooking. It was a fun experience overall; however, It was slightly awkward at first given it was in a home and not a workshop or restaurant. It would have been nice if it was because then we could have added some wine with our cooking experience, but without a liquor license, it's just cooking. Thank you for your hospitality. We look forward to more lessons in the future.

We had so such a great time celebrating our anniversary learning how to make sushi! Chef Suying is so knowledgeable, professional and fun! She is also very generous with the food portions!

Simple amazing! My boyfriend and I had wanted to take a cooking together class for months..but we could never find one. Then I found this and Suying and her husband warmly welcomed us. We learned how to make fresh pasta and yummy salad and sauce. And the our dessert OMG the best. Everything was just wonderful! We are going to do the sushi class soon! Thank you Chef Suying! Chef Suying is fabulous! She’s extremely kind, knowledgeable and talented. She taught us how to properly chop vegetables without wasting any while cutting prep time in half. My favorite part of the evening was learning how to make homemade pasta! I can’t wait to take another one of her classes. Thank you, Chef Suying!

This was an excellent experience. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. We learned alot about making sushi. There was so much food to eat after we cooked it. This was more than we expected, and the host family was so inviting. I will and have recommended to my family and friends to enjoy this experience. We are planning to take another class with Chef Suying.

Originally from Hong Kong, chef Suying brings her Asian culture to the table, with traditional and meticulous preparation, step by step she creates a work of art in each of her exquisite dishes, I highly recommend it.

Wonderful experience. Chief Suying is amazing. You can tell she has been rolling sushi for awhile. Her attention to detail and easy to follow techniques were fun to watch and learn. Do yourself a favor and book a class with her, you won’t regret it.

We had an excellent experience with Chef Suying. She taught us how to make sushi and the class was exceptional. The process on how to make sushi was easy to undestand and the Chef made the class fun. I would highly recommend this class.

Worth it! I attended the Sushi class, Chef Suying was very organized and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about How to make Sushi and feel like I am an expert on making sushi now. I learned how to make a crispy, fresh tempura shrimp roll. It was delicious . We had a lot of fun during the class. I highly recommend her class.

We had so much fun during the gourmet Chinese dinner class. Chef Suying showed us how to make dumplings, lemon chicken and almond cookies from scratch. The food was absolutely delicious. We learned many Chinese cooking skills from Suying, I definitely recommend her class.
