Learn the basics of wine tasting with Sommelier Jen.
In this fun and informative wine tasting experience, learn how to swirl, smell and sip wine like the professionals. While exploring different styles of wine from around the world, you will study terminology and major grape varietals as well as proper storage and service. Choose six wines guided by the provided list of regions and tasting notes to purchase for your class. Sommelier Jen's recommendation is $15-25 per bottle to ensure quality.
The sommelier will provide glassware for the event.
Guests are responsible for purchasing the wines directly, based on the sommelier's recommendations.
The sommelier can coordinate with guests and help call in the wines to a local shop for purchase and pickup there. Alternatively, guests can select their own wines based on the information provided in the menu and wine tasting description. (The sommelier will communicate with the guest upon booking to confirm which option is preferred).
Groups of six or more will be charged the standard per-person rate. Groups with fewer than six guests are welcome to sign up, but must pay a minimum charge of $270 (per-person rate x 6).
You must be 21 years of age to participate fully in the tasting. If you book and are not 21 years old you will not be able to participate and the booking amount will not be refunded. You are responsible for showing a government-issued ID.

She’s worked in tasting rooms and wine shops around the U.S., sharing her knowledge with a grateful clientele. She’s also explored the wine-making process to further her expertise. Sommelier Jen can’t wait to share her wine knowledge with students who'd love to learn from her.

The experience was really exquisite! Jen was very friendly and engaging with our group, even as we sipped more and more wine. Her set up and tear down was very hands-off on our part, and she made sure to service without a burden to us. Communication in advance and day of was helpful, and we were able to precure all the necessities in advance (in this case, wine).
Her knowledge on wine was great - this gave the whole group an opportunity to pick her brain about the making and differences in wine, and approaches to tasting that we probably would not get in a larger setting elsewhere. Jen did very well to engage us and was personable - she indulged a lot of tipsy questions and inquiries!
We'd recommend this experience and Jen to anyone shy but excited to give in to their wine curiosity !

Jen was a fantastic host and our tasting was a great time! She brought some interesting and delicious wines and taught us all alot about testing and pairing.

We all LOVED JEN! She did a great job and everyone had a great time. She was so patient with the chattering and distracted guests which I really appreciated. I highly recommend her!
As for the wine pairing experience, I really think that Cozymeal should charge a flat amount for a certain number of people. It doesn't make great sense to me that the rate is $55 per person when I am paying for the wine. After I have already paid for 10 people to come and then add 3 more, what is the extra $165 getting me or costing cozymeal? That part felt like a value issue and then I'd feel better about using Cozymeal in the future.

I gave this to my husband for his 55th birthday-- it was lovely. Jen was friendly, knowledgeable, interesting, and there was very little prep work that I had to do.

Jen came to my family's home to do a private wine class for us. It was delightful! She is incredibly knowledgeable about all things wine and her love for the subject is apparent. We learned a ton and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

A wonderful Sommelier and an even better person. Jen is extremely knowledgeable and she truly cares about what she does. She helped my husband and I pick out a few wines for our wedding rehearsal and they were the second most talked about subject of the night! I highly recommend Jen for anyone looking to have a great experience, learn new things, and meet an amazing individual.

Jen is amazing! She makes learning about wine and drinking it way more enjoyable with her knowledge and friendliness. She'll take what you like about a wine and find new unique wines you've never heard of and they're always so delicious. I would recommend her a thousand times over if you're planning on having a wine testing event or if you need any great recommendations!
