Booked the class Perfecting Paella with Chef Samuel in Jacksonville (Windy Hill)

Simply stated - a perfect evening! We are a friend group of six who signed up for the â€œPerfecting Paellaâ€ class with Chefs John and Aaron and they brought their â€˜Aâ€™ game, in my opinion. What I loved was how accessible they made this cooking feel - no shaming in the process, just meeting us where we were (I might bake a little but I really donâ€™t cook. Others in our group were more comfortable stepping up there and that was all good.). I truly appreciated the many tips shared (safety, prep, signs of readiness, etc.) in the cooking process as well as the sharing of personal experiences by the chefs relevant to the meal we were being coached through as well as a bit about themselves. Despite there being about 12 in the class total, I felt the chefs really took care to be sure we were seeing what they wanted us to see and checking with each of us to be sure we were picking up what they were laying down. By the end, we were all enjoying a delicious salad, perfect paella and custard tarts! This class is worth your time and money from start to finish.

This was absolutely an amazing experience and memorable date night for me and my husband. The Chef was great and fresh ingredients food was an explosion of flavor. Can't wait to try another class.

The facility was great and so was our instructor. Taking a star off because we thought we would get to make classic croissants but it was only morning buns (cinnamon rolls) and pan au chocolait. It was still a great experience.

Booked the class Savory Skillet Cooking Workshop with Chef Samuel in Jacksonville (Windy Hill)

We cooked an incredible meal of chicken, green beans, flatbread, and a giant chocolate chip cookie! Our chef was knowledgeable and patient, and the group size was perfect for the space. We were even lucky enough to take home a free cast iron skillet at the end. I just wish there had been a place to sit down and rest during our break time. Definitely would recommend for couples or friends.

Booked the class Elevate Your Date - Date Night with Chef Samuel in Jacksonville (Windy Hill)

Such a fun date night! We made yummy steaks!! Chef Aaron was very knowledgeable. I do wish each couple could have had our own station so we could do each step, rather than sharing steps with a group. I also recommend a headpiece microphone for the chef as it was hard to hear him sometimes over the vents. Will be back!

Booked the class Wholesome Thai Feast - Date Night with Chef Samuel in Jacksonville (Windy Hill)

We cooked pad thai, (tofu peanut noodles), shrimp red curry, chicken lettuce wraps and mango icecream. Chef Olivier was so much fun and well informed. We cook a reasonable amount at home but still learnt plenty from him and made delicious meals. We had more than enough to eat. It was a wonderful date night with another couple and will definitely do this again!

Individual versus sharing a cooking station would be better. Having a small separate dining area or at least tables and chairs to enjoy our cooked meal would be great. Dessert should not be served/completed until meal is done and consumed. Overall, fun.

Booked the class From Scratch Homemade Pasta with Chef Samuel in Jacksonville (Windy Hill)

The class was awesome. I can't remember the name of the chef that was actually teaching the class, but I'm guessing it was the resident chef. Either way, my wife and I had a great time learning about making pasta from scratch. It was much simpler than we realized and tasted great. We ended up getting the hand crank pasta maker after the class and are super excited to make our own pasta in the future.
